In fact, i was thinking of doing another play through. I just finished the game after a few hours because i was scared a game-breaking glitch would happen and i would have to restart. I honestly dont know what happened to my game because all i did was update. Some of the house upgrades disappeared but when you try to "improve" them, it says all upgrades have been built. I also got stuck in ice and mist even with a fully upgraded boat. Alice's house quest "taking the low road" would trigger and complete itself every single time i load my save. Thunder Lotus Games has announced plans to release three major updates for Spiritfarer, the cozy management game about dying, in the spring, summer, and fall.

The game closed several times in a span of 2-3 hours. I see people talking about an update, and saw it announced on Twitter, but I didnt see Steam update anything and looking at the update history says Press J to jump to the feed.

Post-update, instead of ending the game, i travelled around the map to see what "entertainment" buck said he would provide for me. Spirtfarer will receive three new updates in 2021, which will add four new adorable spirits, new story content, quality of life improvements, a new island, and more. The changes to Gustav’s story are coming in a patch very soon, they sadly missed the boat for this content update. I was about to end the game when the update came out. Pre-update, i only encountered 2 - buck "flying" down through the water over and over, and the game force closing twice during my whole playthrough (around 9 days).
